Collabodoc is a company born out of the needs of healthcare. Staffan Bjessmo, Leg. MD, CEO and founder of Collabodoc has worked both in university hospitals, in primary care and as head of operations in several different departments.
- Everywhere I've been, I've seen a great commitment to really do the best for patients. But recently, frustration has increased. Malfunctioning IT systems, shortage of doctors' hours, deteriorating work environment and dissatisfied patients are unfortunately commonplace in many parts of the healthcare sector. I decided to do something about it," says Staffan.
In 2016, Collabodoc launched its first product, the lightbox, which has helped healthcare providers manage 700,000 physical patient visits in a smooth and welcoming way. Today, Collabodoc has a whole range of digital solutions to facilitate both physical and digital care encounters. The focus has always been the same: Welcome patients, promote good patient encounters and offer simple, smooth digital tools that create value from day 1. Staffan, what do you use Generics services for?
- We use the Generics Message API for all our text messages, for appointment reminders, for patient surveys, booking confirmations, links to patient registrations and video visits etc, and not least to follow up on the satisfaction of our visitors.
What problems have the services solved for you?
- We have a unified API for all our applications and have been able to spend development time on our core business instead of developing our own solutions for text messaging. The service has also been very robust and trouble-free. We handle patient data for our customers in the Swedish market, so it is also important for us to have a Swedish supplier with Swedish storage and management that offers secure communication.
Finally, Staffan, what do you think is the best thing about Generic?
- Our collaboration with Generic has been easy and problem-free since the start of 2019. The integration with the Message API was smooth and well documented, and the questions that arose were answered quickly and well.We feel that the team at Generic is both knowledgeable and pleasant, and that they have very short response times.
