Generic has received an order from the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration worth 22 MSEK.

Generic assists the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration in supplying Sweden's defense forces with interoperable communications and sensor systems.
The contract awarded to Generic covers operational support for the following projects:
- Operational Support for the TDL Office
The TDL Office is responsible for the procurement of interoperable tactical data links (primarily Link 16) at FMV. Generic, together with subcontractors, will provide services including subproject management, technical studies, security analyses, technical documentation, and the development of system architecture in accordance with MODAF. - Operational Support for GTRS
The Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) is procuring a software-defined radio system known as the Joint Tactical Radio System (GTRS). Generic is supporting the GTRS project with requirements analysis and configuration management. - Operational Support Ra1590
FMV is procuring the Ra1590 radio system, a handheld radio for Close Air Support. Generic will develop system documentation and support FMV in the handover of the system to the Swedish Armed Forces. - Operational Support: Tactical Sensors
Tactical sensors include sensors for ground sensor networks, night combat equipment, optronics, and more. Generic will develop documentation for project planning, technical specifications, and support for the implementation of projects in this area.
The order is worth 22 MSEK, and delivery is scheduled to take place between December 1, 2011, and December 31, 2012.
