Generic Strengthens Product Management and Technical Leadership

To further strengthen its focus on the future and continued profitable growth, Generic will divide responsibilities for product management and development and operations. Magnus Rasmusson will assume the role of CPO, with responsibility for product management and portfolio strategy. Fredrik Parkell will take charge of development and operations in the role of CTO.
Magnus holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and has worked at Generic for 25 years. He has extensive knowledge of communication solutions and our customers’ needs, which allows him to focus on continuing to support our existing and new customers with a robust and future-proof portfolio of offerings.
Fredrik is a civil engineer and has worked at Generic for 8 years. His experience in both software development and his most recent role as leader of our operations team gives him a very good understanding of our technical platform and the work required to continue delivering secure and stable services to our customers.
The new organizational structure will take effect on October 1, 2025.
