December 18, 2009
Generic Systems Sweden AB has signed a framework agreement with the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration (LFV) regarding development work for the Single European Sky (SES). SES is a directive from the European Commission aimed at enabling more efficient and environmentally friendly aviation within Europe, and is based on service orientation as a fundamental principle. Generic has been selected by LFV to contribute its expertise in Enterprise Architecture based on service orientation. Generic possesses extensive expertise in this area and has developed several proprietary methods through its work on developing a network-based defense system.
“The fact that Generic Systems was one of the winners in this procurement process, despite the fiercest possible competition, is a great honor,” says CEO Kenneth Monthan. “This agreement gives us the opportunity to bring our expertise and experience from defense projects to the civilian market.”
