Henrik Gavelli Named New CEO of Generics' Consulting Division

Henrik Gavelli took office today as the new CEO of Generic Sweden’s consulting business. He most recently worked at Cybercom, where he held positions as CEO of a subsidiary and sales director. Henrik succeeds Michael Edman and will also join Generic’s executive management team.

“I’m very pleased that we’ve been able to recruit Henrik. He has a strong background in management and sales and will lead our efforts to increase the growth rate and profitability of our consulting business. Demand for our consulting services is strong, and our consultants have high utilization rates. Henrik will now lead the effort to broaden our customer base and recruit new consultants at a faster pace than before,” says Generic’s CEO Fredrik Svedberg.

Henrik Gavelli holds a degree in civil engineering from KTH and has worked in the consulting industry for 25 years, gaining experience across several client segments in both the public and private sectors.

“It’s very exciting to be joining Generic, and I’m impressed by the expertise my new colleagues possess. One of my main challenges will be to further develop the business culture within the consulting division—something I have extensive experience with from previous jobs,” says Henrik Gavelli.
