Alfa eCare "Shorter care queues with efficient communication services"

Alfa eCare delivers digital systems and tools for municipalities, regions, healthcare units and clinics. The aim is to always, together with customers, develop secure and cost-effective solutions that provide the greatest possible value to the business, employees and individuals. This is done with the help of a range of tools that streamline, automate and create process flows.

Alfa eCare was founded over 20 years ago with the aim of exploring the possibilities of technology and digitalization to help businesses in the welfare sector. Alfa eCare has a number of specialized products that work together to create and deliver end-to-end solutions to customers.

140 people work to develop, sell and manage Alfa eCare's digital systems for the Nordic market. Customers include around 150 municipalities and many private companies in areas such as elderly care, childcare, individual and family care, LSS, dentistry, dental technology, rehabilitation and psychology.

We had a chat with Albert Winter, CEO of Alfa Group.

Albert, what do you use Generic's services for?

- We use Generics' SMS services for our customers for things like appointment confirmations and appointment reminders, as well as two-factor authentication for logging in. Some also use the service to quickly book another patient in case of a cancellation.

- It is a well-known fact that late cancellations and no-shows cost the healthcare system huge amounts of money, so there is great value in sending reminders of booked appointments and filling canceled appointments quickly. It saves time and money and helps cut waiting lists.
