Generic launches new generation Minicall
Generic is today launching a new generation of Minicall based on a completely new platform and new terminals. The network is also being developed in that the terminals now communicate in parallel with the existing Minicall network in combination with all operators' 2G and 4G networks in Sweden. This creates very high availability both indoors and outdoors. The service is being launched under the name Minicall+ and also comes with more and better features such as multiple receipts and encryption.
The service is traditionally aimed at organizations with critical communication needs, such as healthcare, rescue and emergency services, but can now address additional target groups such as organizations with lone workers where better products are currently in demand. The service integrates with Generics APIs and web tools, providing control over sent messages, delivery status and responses.
"This is the single largest investment made in Minicall in modern times. The development has been done in close dialog with our customers and we are proud to be able to deliver a really competent solution with the best possible availability", says Jonas Jegerborn, CEO of Generic AB.
