Price refinement for searches to Minicall

Minicall has served as the best in the wireless alarm market for over 30 years. The use of Minicall has evolved from a mass service to a niche service for critical users. With simple, robust and low-power receivers with exceptional coverage, Minicall is the best option on the market for messages that really need to get through.

Minicall is getting better and better

Over the past two years, Generic Mobile has made a number of investments and improvements in the Minical service, such as IP-based transmission, new REST API, and the introduction of new robust receivers. We intend to further develop and improve the service in the long term and further investments will therefore be made in order to continue to maintain the highest availability and keep up with the expectations of an increasingly digitized world.

As the costs of running the nationwide network are relatively constant and the customer base is slowly declining, the price of the service must therefore be adjusted periodically. We are now initiating a refinement of the price towards SEK 10 for making searches to Minicall. On October 1, 2017, this change will be introduced for all searches by phone. All other prices for subscriptions and searches via computer and transmitter account remain unchanged.

There are three things you need to know:

• The cheapest way to send Minicall messages is via computer and sender account
• The new price for calling Minicall IVR is SEK 10 excluding VAT from 1 October 2017*
• Generic Mobile continues to invest and invest in Minicall - so that the service can live for many more years

* The price for making a search via computer to our modem pool with the phone number 0740-96 0000, also called Minicall Connect 120, also changes to 10 SEK excl.

Note: The price change refers to traffic via the telecom operators Generic Mobile has cooperation agreements with, e.g. all major fixed network operators. A smaller amount of traffic goes via operators that set the price themselves, contact Generic Mobile customer service for information about your telecom operator.
