Features and functions

Send fax as email

A digital fax means that you send a fax just like a normal e-mail. The content and any attachments are converted to fax by the service. It is also possible to use unique domain addresses for faxes, e.g. @fax.dindomän.se.

Receive faxes as emails

With an incoming fax number, you can easily receive faxes directly to email. The fax arrives as a regular email with the fax itself attached as a PDF. Each incoming fax number is linked to one or more e-mail addresses. You can of course keep your existing and established fax number by forwarding it to the new number you receive in the service.

Digital fax security

The security of digital fax is very high. Faxes are only temporarily stored during delivery, no third parties are involved and information is only stored in Sweden. You are guaranteed full traceability and all information is encrypted.
As an operator, Generic is subject to the Electronic Communications Act (LEK), which includes GDPR. Generic also has the role of data controller.

Sender Policy Framework

To further increase the security of authentication, it is possible to use the SPF (Sender Policy Framework) method. This protects against unauthorized use and minimizes the risk of an e-mail address being forged and thus gaining access to the service.
