Generic's SMS Gateway service is integrated into Icecon's solutions, which help companies distribute travel information, among other things.
- We supply communication systems to, among others, companies in passenger transport, in many cases it is about informing travelers on e.g. trains and buses about late arrivals, canceled tours, etc. As a traveler, you can register your phone number on the respective company's website and get current information on your mobile about lines or tours you are particularly interested in. "This is particularly relevant for regular travelers," says Jonas Nygård.
- SMS messages directly to the mobile phone keep the customer updated and make them more confident and satisfied. Passengers do not need to actively seek up-to-date information about their journey, but can hopefully re-plan in good time. But it also means significantly fewer calls to the customer center with questions or complaints. In various situations, our customers may be liable for compensation if, for example, a train is canceled. If you have informed about this in good time, you can avoid it.
- Many of our customers have been able to save a lot of money and resources by distributing traffic information via SMS," says Jonas Nygård.
